Seahawks have something to prove versus Rams in Week 11

The Seattle Seahawks will play their biggest matchup of the 2025 season to date in Week 11. The 7-2, NFC West division-leading Seahawks will travel to Los Angeles to compete against the Rams. Mike Macdonald's squad enters the road date with their biggest division rival with something to prove.

Both the Seahawks and Rams are currently embarking on four-game winning streaks. One of them will extend that streak to five consecutive victories, while the loser will fall one victory behind the division leader. The stakes are high.

Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is playing like a potential MVP candidate. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is also a potential MVP frontrunner. Darnold and Stafford are arguably among the top three candidates. Sunday's winner could separate themselves.

The Rams won the NFC West division at 10-7 last season. The Seahawks missed the postseason despite sporting an identical record. One of the tiebreakers was a brutal Week 9 overtime loss to the Rams.

The Seahawks reloaded in the offseason by acquiring Darnold at quarterback, and by naming Klint Kubiak the new offensive coordinator. Those two home-run moves have the Seahawks better positioned to compete with the Rams this campaign. We'll learn something notable about this year's team in Week 11.
